OUR HITS
OF HEART
OUR BEACHES HAVE THE COAST
Remembrance beaches, to revive the memory of D Day.
Juno, Gold, Sword, Omaha and Utah Beach, these must-see places have marked contemporary history: JUNE 6, 1944 and the Battle of Normandy.
These places are only a few minutes from Ô sources and Bazenville.
Slightly to the left, a little over 5 minutes away, Arromanches and its artificial port "Winston" where the past is still very much alive and stretches out in front of you life-size.
The fine sand beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see, sometimes interspersed with steep cliffs, delight young and old.
Here, swimming and fishing on foot are popular.
WALKING, WALKING, HIKING, CROSSING
Idleness is de rigueur in Bazenville, but your desire for walks may be stronger.
Past the gate of your guest room or your cottage and you are immediately on a hiking trail or a mountain bike course.
No departure for adventure, the Sherpas of Ô sources concoct themed walks, according to your desires, on foot, by bike or even by car, half-day or even more if you wish.
Bikes are available free of charge on site.
Normandy is agricultural land, it produces many appellations recognized by all; Camembert, Livarot, Pont Lévêque, AOC butter and cream, cider, perry, Calvados or Pommeau (beware of alcohol abuse), oysters, mussels and seafood that our chefs transform with passion and creativity (see our good addresses).
OUR GOOD ADDRESSES
We are in love with beautiful things, festivals in our region, concerts or exhibitions...
There are plenty of them in the summer period, but our late season is not left out.
Normandy is a rich land, the green of its pastures is the most beautiful example, but also its churches, castles, monuments which lend themselves to the visit.
The coast is rich in walks but also home to oyster production areas, for example Meuvaines, 5 minutes from Ô sources, where you can buy or taste the seafood products.
We have selected some good deals for you, on site, our lists are updated every week.
